The first horse race known took place in “La Alameda” of Osuna, in 1835. The Duke of Osuna is known as the father of the Spanish turf.

You should bet on the horses you feel have a good chance of winning. If you don't like a horse, don't bet on it.
Give preference to winners.

The purpose of betting in horses is to beat the “Oddsmakers” and therefore win money. Besides, if you put your money on your favorite horse, that makes the race more exciting and fun.
