On August 2nd, Caesars Palace will celebrate its birthday in the roman theater of the resort. This event will be conducted by actress Jenny McCarthy and it will feature a live performance by the musical band Otis Day and the Knights.

When the hotel opened its doors on August 5, 1966, it changed every luxury and magnificence standard in the industry of hotels and casinos. Its opulent world of Grecco-Roman fantasy captured the international attention as the first casino resort of that class.

Thanks to the imported marble statues, important restaurants and shows leaded by the main international artists, Caesars Palace immediately became a standard for the industry. Since its creation, Caesars Palace has expanded almost five times its original capacity. The 34-he resort has 3340 rooms for guests and suites, the biggest poker room of the city, a health and beauty center and a pool of 1.8 he, as well as gardens, more that twenty restaurants and the well-known Forum Shops.

In March 2003, Caesars Palace opened its Colossus with 4100 seats and shows with international artists such us Celine Dion, Elton john and Jerry Seinfeld. Meanwhile, sport events, concerts and private functions were organized at the Roman Plaza Theater, which has 4000 seats.
